Our family has a new addition, and this little girl has quite the story already.
Meet Dora! She's a tiny black kitten with the cutest little white paws and a white tummy. My husband found her on the interstate after her mama passed away, and now she's getting a second chance at life with us.
She's still so little that we're bottle-feeding her, with a little wet kitten food mixed into her routine as she grows. It's a whole new level of responsibility, but we're happy to give her the care she needs.
If you've been following my animal videos, you already know that our house can look like a WWE match one minute and a kitten-and-puppy nap club the next. 😂 Now we've got Dora joining the crew, and we're figuring out this new chapter together.
Life has been a little heavy lately, and I've been working through some personal things. I'm not going to pretend that bringing home a kitten makes everything magically better, but I will say that having this tiny life to care for has given me something positive to focus on. There's something grounding about showing up every day for another living creature, especially one who needs a little extra help getting started.
And while Dora gets her bottles and settles into her new home, I'll keep doing what I do best: cooking good food, caring for my family, and taking things one day at a time.
