The long awaited end of school

I've been just about every emotion under the sun the last two weeks or so, and I think its got something to do with my test taking anxiety and making sure Alex dont hurt himself while healing. Im about a week away from the end of my classes. I'm excited to put into practice all ive been learning, but extremely nervous about this test for my real estate license.

If you happen to be my friend on social media and happen to live in my area you probably have or will be getting a message from me asking if you know anyone looking to buy or sell a home. Im learning how to start conversations with people because typically im not good at small talk, but creating connections is how to be the best person in mind for the job. Real Estate builds on the skills im learning at my current job at the casino, but looks to the future and is teaching me how to be a nicer human.

My test taking nerves come from years of standardized tests at the end of the year that I had to guess at to make sure I had enough time to finish my work because I had to stop and read everything. I think thats why I read all the fine print on anything I sign now. I had dyslexia. No one knew or did any testing until high school. They gave me tools and extra time on tests of any kind because sometime I needed someone to read things to me. It got alot easier in college where they gave me audio books to listen to and study groups where life savers. Same thing happened with the online school for real estate once I figured out how to have it read to me and I could follow along in my regular text book its been a game changer. Reminds me I need to email my coach to see if the exam is the same way.

Anyways, my blogs have been less food centered because I haven't had the time to take care of myself recently. I did go on a grocery hall for my parents, so here's five quick meal prep ideas to round out the last few moments before my Friday starts. We went to Aldi down the street because their budget is small this week. We got chicken breast, burgers and onion rings, steaks, potatoes, eggs, fresh veggies, and pork chops. With that I made Denver omelet egg bites, caprese salad over chicken breast, chicken tenders for snack wraps, steak and hassle back potatoes, and Alex made chop chey. It never takes alot of money; only creativity to make good that you'll enjoy.

Thanks for coming on this journey with me and as always if you have any questions, comments or concerns, please comment below or email me... Be Blessed!!
