Its been an exciting few weeks at our house. We paid off our house/RV and received the title. Also Alex got to start adding food back into his diet, and thats taking alot of planning back into our schedule.
First and probably the one were proudest of is we paid off our home; which is our RV named Christine. We got a great deal because I worked with the person we bought her from. Alex was sad because in the deal he lost his scooter named Sarah, but we both decided a deal like this wouldn't come again for a long time. We were able to make payment until we paid her completely off and now we have to go change the title get registered and tagged. Then when were ready to go on the road we have to go through an inspection point. That won't be until we get a big truck. Side note if you know someone selling a big truck thats willing to take payments let me know.
Anyways, the best part of the blog and well this happened like 3 weeks ago. I've been busy with studying for this real-estate exam and working crazy hours I haven't had time and energy to write. Alex had his surgery a month ago and it went well. We went for the check up to tell him he could eat solid food again. He was so excited because he hadnt had actual food in a month. The next week we went to his regular doctor for his check up and his white blood cells were low come to find out he had to have 6 units of blood during the procedure meaning he could have died. Im so thankful he didnt because that man's my best friend. He definitely works my last nerve sometimes but hes the only one that can calm me down sometimes.
His first meal was pulled pork, since everything still has to be cooked to a soft texture so its easier to digest. At present hes able to eat lean protein and non starchy vegetables, hes very excited to try his asparagus and brussel sprouts. Im scared of the texture so I told him I'd cook them to where I like and you microwave after that.
Thanks guys for always coming to check on me and being a place for me to tell my feelings. Please don't forget to comment below and send us an email... stay tuned for updates!
