When I started Katis Flavor Lab, it wasn’t just about food.
It was about building something of my own. It was about creativity, resilience, and turning passion into something tangible. What started as an idea grew into catering menus, beverage packages, blog posts, protein-packed recipes, cocktail videos, and so many late-night flavor experiments.
And every single one of you who followed along made it matter.
Today, I’m sharing something bittersweet:
Katis Flavor Lab, the business, is officially closing.
This wasn’t an easy decision — but it’s the right one for this season of life.
What we built here was real. The inquiries, the events, the messages, the support — it all meant more than you know. I’m incredibly proud of the creativity and heart that went into this brand.
That said, I want to be clear about something important:
I’m not disappearing.
I will still be here. I’ll still be creating. I’ll still be blogging. I’ll still be sharing recipes, drinks, ideas, and pieces of the journey. The passion for food and hospitality hasn’t gone anywhere.
The business side is paused until life settles and the timing makes sense again.
Sometimes growth doesn’t look like expansion — sometimes it looks like stepping back strategically.
This isn’t the end of the dream. It’s just a reset.
