If a cinnamon roll and a pizza had a baby… this would be and its magnificent 👌
This week’s lunch prep is something I didn’t expect to love as much as I do… but wow. Imagine a soft, fluffy cinnamon roll base idea its stretched and shaped like a pizza, loaded with pizza toppings, and baked until golden, gooey, and just slightly crisp on the edges. as a idea and turned into something completely different—but honestly? I might like this version better.
Soft dough, rolled up, sliced like cinnamon rolls—but topped like a pizza. And the best part? You don’t have to fight with dough at all.
🍕 What You’ll Need
1 can pizza dough (I suggest the Pillsbury pizza dough roll—keeps it easy)
Pizza sauce
Mozzarella cheese
Pepperoni
Onions (sliced)
Picked peppers
Italian seasoning
👩🍳 How to Make It
Preheat oven to 375°F
Roll out your pizza dough flat
Add a thin layer of pizza sauce across the dough
Sprinkle mozzarella, then layer pepperoni, onions, and picked peppers
Roll it up like you would cinnamon rolls
Slice into rounds and place them in a baking dish or on a tray
Sprinkle a little extra cheese + your seasonings on top
Bake for about 15–20 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
Why this works for meal prep:
Easy to portion
Reheats beautifully
Feels indulgent without needing a full dessert
And if you’re like me—balancing flavor, creativity, and real-life eating habits—this is the kind of recipe that keeps things interesting without overcomplicating your week.
Would I make it again?
Already planning the next version.
